"Marvi" - Marvi Hämmer presents the NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC WORLD - starting immediately every Sunday from 7.25 to 7.50 on KI.KA – an educational program for children. Marvi the rat is making his career! Last autumn the KI.KA broadcast two episodes of the new educational program for the first time. This is a co-production between ZDF, WDR, RB, KI.KA and FWU in collaboration with NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC DEUTSCHLAND and YOUA edutainment. With the aid of exciting coverages, Marvi the clever rat whisks you away into the world of knowledge. In addition, Marvi Hämmer presents the NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC WORLD with bilingual elements, aimed at helping children improve their knowledge of the English language. The viewers’ response to the new format was extremely positive.

4K completes the 4th Season of "Marvi Hämmer presents National Geographic World". 4K has produced 104 episodes in total of the successful TV-series.

Finnish Tango was in competition for the "Bernhard Wicki Preis" and won the Audience Award. Premiere will be on 05th June, 7.15 pm, Norderney, Opening film in the cinema of the Kurtheater Norderney, 07th June, 7.15 pm, Emden in Neuen Theater, Emden, on 08th June, 1.15 pm, Emden in the cinema (not yet announced), 08. June, 7 pm, Emden, Gala with Award presentation. Also, Finnish Tango is in competition for the "Filmkunstpreis" (Jury). An additional "Audience Award" will be given at 4th Festival OF GERMAN FILMS in Ludwigshafen.

CrocoLoco - 4k have submitted CrocoLoco to the Animago Award 2008 in the category: film. On the 12th November 2008 the Animago Awards will be presented within the framework of the digital creation days in Karlsruhe.

Finnish Tango attracts the first viewers into the cinema at the Film Festival Emden Norderney and attained the most important acknowledgement at the "Festival of German Films" in Ludwigshafen "The Audience Award". Premiere in Bremen on the 24. August in the Theater am Goetheplatz, featuring the Finnish tango band Uusikuu. Release date in the Federal Republic is the 28th August 2008. For the planned release of Finnish Tango a large premiere will be held on the 24th of August, at 7 pm in Bremen with actors and crew. Other premiere tours with actors and crew are planned between the 24th and 28th of. August in various towns, e.g. Hannover, Cologne, Hamburg, Berlin. Floods in India and Nepal. More than 1.4 million people in Bihar have been affected by flooding, many being forced to flee from their homes. 4K showed their solidarity with their Indian partners by making a donation to UNICEF.

4k has been commissioned to produce "Team Deutschland" by the NDR, a German broadcaster. This weekly TV format will feature animated comedy about German politicians and other VIPs. In a first pilot stage the contract is for 7 episodes of 7 minutes each which will be produced and broadcast weekly from November 08 to January 09.

Team Deutschland on-air details for first episode: Thursday, November 27th, 23:00 and Saturday, November 29th 2008, 0:15. Peter Sodann wants to become Federal President. In Team Deutschland the NDR cartoon satire he is already practicing his Christmas address. NDR television is starting with a new format, the topical weekly satire that nobody can elude. It doesn't matter who is in the line of fire, they won't escape the artists from the first animated satire show on German TV. Team Deutschland is a weekly ramble through politics, culture, society, sport and other niches in the Republic and a "Late-Night-Bin" to dispose of the day's TV trash - fully animated and very animating.
